Hometown Bank Steps Up to Partner with the REAS Foundation!

The REAS Foundation is pleased to announce that Hometown Bank has joined our team as a member of the REAS Foundation Associate Board of Directors. Citing the “desire to be part of a comprehensive local solution to significant challenges facing our seniors”, Matt Sosik - President/Chief Executive Officer and Treasurer of Hometown Bank – announced that Sturbridge Branch Manager Kathryn Latour would serve as Hometown’s representative.

Demonstrating Hometown’s resolve to be part of the solution, Mr. Sosik presented REAS Board Chairman Scott Garieri, and Vice-Chairman Jim Malloy with a $1000.00 donation, on behalf of Hometown Bank.

“We are grateful to Hometown Bank for their willingness to participate in such a meaningful and direct manner”, said Chairman Scott Garieri, as he welcomed Kathryn as a member of our team.

Vice-Chairman Jim Malloy, thanked Hometown Bank for its “commitment to our community and its willingness to become an important part of our efforts on behalf of Sturbridge seniors”.

“The addition of Hometown Bank to our team, further enhances our ability to provide much needed energy assistance to Sturbridge seniors; we welcome them as a partner”, said Thomas R. Creamer - Executive Director of the REAS Foundation.

Ms. Latour expressed her “eagerness and excitement to be a part of such a worthwhile and wonderful endeavor” and was “proud to be Hometown’s representative”.
